Be the best you can be - a test pass is just the beginning
Did you know?:
As drivers you start to obtain your driver attitude from the age of three - parents beware!
Driving whilst suffering from flu increases the risk of a road accident as much as drinking 2 glasses of whisky!
1 in 3 male drivers aged between 17 and 20 crash in the first two years after passing their test, and 1 in 5 drivers crash within their first year of driving.
A new driver is 7 times more likely to crash during their first 250 miles.
Young drivers are twice as likely to die in a road crash when carrying passengers of their own age.
More women aged 17- 19 are Killed or Seriously injured as car passengers than drivers
You are 4 times more likely to be in an accident if you are using a mobile phone.
1 in 5 new drivers will crash within the first 6 months of driving.
***Most young drivers mimic their parents driving habits!***
Only a qualified instructor displays a green octagon. A non qualified instructor displays a pink triangle. Bogus instructors display neither.
Most non independent driving schools are full of unqualified or newly qualified instructors offering cheap lessons for them to gain experience. Driving is dangerous. If you were choosing an airline pilot or surgeon I'm sure you'd choose an experienced one.
Despite this people still shop around for the cheapest driving instructor. Remember you get what you pay for. Cheap deals usually mean confusion on when you can take your 'cheap lessons. The first hour, the fifth hour and on the day of the driving test. You may find you aren't allowed to cancel for whatever reason or you lose your 'cheap' lesson. You might not want to stay with the instructor but have paid up front in order to secure 'cheap lessons'
All our lessons are full hour lessons, we don't run our errands, we don't expect you to pick up or drop of our next or previous pupil. It's your lesson it's based around your needs. There's just a few good reasons why we've been teaching people to drive for over 29 years.
It's not all bad news:
When Shopping round for driving lessons do ask about the service you will receive from your instructor. We provide full hour lessons, don't run errands during your lesson time, don't take phone calls during your lesson time and will never expect you to fit round us by transporting other students to and from home. This may seem obvious and not expected by you but some driving schools run this way. If you have any doubts do ask when calling for driving lessons
